three years ago we joined the London & Southern Counties Bowling Association and will be  competing in their competitons again this year.

We also enter teams in the Parren and Beharrell Shield matches as well as the Tuesday Morning Triples League and the Group 6 matches in which this year we are fielding teams in two divisions.

Our ladies will once again be entering a team for the Jubillee League and we shall be continuing to play mixed teams in the Adams League on Tuesday evenings.

As well as all these competition games approximately 20 friendly matches against other clubs are played  during the season and there are Club Days on most Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2.00pm. Any who wish to try the game should arrive at Priory park at 1.30pm on either of these two days and ask to speak to an Officer or Official of the club.

We have access to 24 rinks and practice games and roll ups can be played at most times on any day during the week.

Bowling  Holiday to Gunton Hall

During the week commencing 25th March Prittlewell Bowls Club made an expedition to Gunton Hall where they took part in a tournament.

32 teams competed and of the four from Prittlewell, one managed to win enough points to obtain a place in the quarter finals, and then the semi finals and, to their great surprise, they won the final.

They were supported all the way through by all the other members of the club.

They will now be invited to the all England Warners finalists competition in October.

We hope they will do well there.
