In 2006 we welcomed ladies and now have over 30 lady members. The strength of our lady members has allowed us to be one of the very few truly mixed clubs in the area.
We are not split in to two sections. Following changes to our constitution and club rules we have one committee and both our club captain and club president alternate each year between a lady and a gentlemen. Last year saw for the very first time in our history a lady club captain. This year see our first lady president.
Our season for 2010 starts on Saturday 24th April and we shall be welcoming new bowlers on our "Open Days" on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28th when our qualified coaches will be available to show you the rules and help you understand the enjoyment of the game of bowls.

It is our intention to form a junior section and we are currently working with several members who are willing to become junior coaches and develop this part of our club.
If you have experience of working with young people and would like to know more please contact Bernard Clark.
Note: All applicants will be required to complete the Criminal Records (CRB) discloser form in line with current legislation when working with young or vulnerable people. We will also ask for two references.
